Robert A.M. Stern is an architect, a university professor, and a writer at RAMSA. A member of the American Institute of Architects, in 2017 he was awarded the Topaz Medallion by the AIA and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture in joint recognition of his outstanding contribution to architectural education. Robert A.M. Stern also won the 2011 Driehaus Award and in 2008 he received the 10th Vincent Scully Award from the National Building Museum. In 2007 he earned himself both the Athena Award from the Congress for New Urbanism and the Board of Directors’ Honor from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. He has been a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences since 2007 and a member of the American Academy of Arts & Letters since 2011.
