True beauty lies in imperfection, shaped by chance, change, age and individuality. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, JAKU translates this organic aesthetic into a sculptural table with distinctive ceramic bases. Each base is handcrafted using traditional techniques and a high proportion of grog, giving every piece its own unique form, texture and colour. Natural variations and irregularities are an integral part of the design, ensuring that no two JAKU tables are ever exactly alike.
