Bertrand Lejoly was born in 1980 in Belgium in a German and French speaking family. Thanks to his education, Lejoly’s design language incorporates all cultures. The designer describes his own style as ‘refined simplicity’. His objects walk the boundary between an expressive yet subtle design language. He especially likes to play with elements that are engraved in the collective memory to create timeless items for everyday use.
