Zanuso, the 275 lamp was originally conceived for use as a desk lamp. However, its purpose was not intended as an operational lamp, but rather to illuminate a table in an environment that is not necessarily an office. In fact, its iconic shape finds use not only on desks, but generally on any bearing plane.
